Atlas Ocean Voyages' first Atlas-class yacht and the world's first luxury expedition sailing yacht: 200 all-suite staterooms for up to 400 guests, a triple-masted carbon rig with solid sails, dual-fuel electric-hybrid propulsion with a 9 MW battery, an Ice Class 1B (Polar Category C) hull, a marina platform with ocean pool, and seven dining venues. Debuts late 2028 from Kobe, Japan, on a maiden season through Asia, the Indian Ocean and Africa.

Good to Know

All-Inclusive Fare

Atlas Ocean Voyages is all-inclusive. Included with your fare: all dining venues onboard (main restaurants, grill, pantry, room service), house wines / beers / spirits / soft drinks / coffee / tea at all bars and restaurants, gratuities (no tipping required), butler service (Reserve Collection suites), L'OCCITANE in-suite amenities, 24-hour room service, transportation to/from ship on embarkation & disembarkation day in most ports, and — on Polar Expeditions — Zodiac safaris and shore landings twice daily.

Electricity & Outlets

All staterooms have 110V and 220V outlets (60Hz). US, EU, and Type G (UK) plugs are typically supported via in-room multi-region sockets. Bring international adapters only for unusual plug shapes.

Dress Code

Atlas is a 'country club casual' environment. Daywear is resort-casual (polo, linen, shorts, resort dresses). Evening dress is smart-casual — no formal-night requirement. Expedition gear is provided on polar voyages (parka is yours to keep, boots are loaned for the duration).

Wi-Fi & Connectivity

Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship for all guests (basic browsing, email, messaging). Streaming-grade connectivity is subject to satellite coverage; expect reduced speeds in remote polar regions.

Language & Currency Onboard

The onboard language is English. All onboard charges, crew announcements, and menus are in English. The shipboard currency is US Dollar (USD); staterooms are preloaded to a folio that can be settled by credit card at voyage end.

Gratuities

Gratuities for all onboard staff (cabin stewards, waitstaff, butlers, bar staff) are included in your fare. No additional tipping is expected. Expedition team and spa therapists may be tipped at guest discretion; this is not customary.

Medical Center

A licensed physician is onboard every voyage and the Medical Center is open daily. Routine consultations and minor treatments are available for a fee (approx. USD 100 per visit, plus medications). In the event of an emergency, the ship coordinates evacuation via port authorities; evacuation costs are the guest's responsibility — travel insurance with medical + evacuation coverage is strongly recommended.

Children

Atlas welcomes guests of all ages. The minimum age is 8 on standard itineraries and 13 on polar voyages (Antarctica / Arctic). There is no dedicated kids' club onboard; the experience is oriented toward adult and family-friendly expedition travel. Children aged 8–17 sharing a suite with two adults receive a discounted fare.

Accessibility

The ship has elevator access between all guest decks and a small number of accessible staterooms. Zodiac shore landings have physical requirements (stepping in/out of a small craft); guests with mobility concerns should discuss suitability with reservations before booking.

Safety & Classification

Polar Category C / Ice Class 1B hull rating for worldwide operations including the Arctic and Antarctic (IAATO-compliant). Dynamic positioning system preserves fragile ecosystems by holding station without anchor. Life rafts, fire-suppression, and safety drills meet SOLAS standards.

Smoking Policy

Smoking (including e-cigarettes / vapes) is prohibited in all staterooms, balconies, and indoor public areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are identified by signage on upper decks.

Luggage

One checked bag and one carry-on per guest is the recommended allowance. Luggage is delivered to your stateroom within 2 hours of boarding. On polar voyages, the supplied parka and boots travel back with you to the ship cabin — pack layers and waterproofs.
