Every Cultural Expedition is guided by Cultural Experts & Storytellers who present fascinating seminars on board and accompany you ashore to lend insight to your exploration. Additional experts such as photographers or culinarians may lead interactive sessions as well. We’ve also partnered with the travel specialists at Afar to offer Afar Recommends: Stargazing & Astronomy Workshops led by resident astronomers.

A wide range of specialists present engaging seminars and discussions on board, from museum curators to broadcasters to ambassadors, as well as scientists whose expertise may include botany, geology, paleontology or other fields.

As part of our commitment to inspiring and enriching travelers in partnership with Afar, resident astronomers will be on board for Afar Recommends: Stargazing & Astronomy Workshops. These experts will enlighten you on the cosmos and astronavigation and join you on deck to stargaze through telescopes in a brilliant night sky far from city lights.

Photography professionals may lead workshops to help you best capture the breathtaking moments of your voyage, while drone operators give you a thrilling aerial view of a destination by navigating above it as you take in the scene through first-person-view goggles.
