Fitness & mobility: Most shore excursions involve boarding Zodiacs in swell and stepping ashore on beaches (wet landings). A good sense of balance and mobility is essential to safely embark/disembark. Indonesia is a tropical environment located along the equator. Expect heat, humidity, and conditions that can be tiring even for fit travellers. To participate in activities, passengers must often trek, manage heat, or enter the water from Zodiacs. Some shore excursions require very early starts. Zodiacs: On your voyage, there is a whole world of breathtaking wilderness to discover, and at Aurora Expeditions we pride ourselves on being able to bring you closer to some of the incredible scenery and wildlife that make the region so unique.
