A Tiny Island Full of Life
Discover St. Paul, a tiny island community in the Pribilof Islands comprised largely of native Aleuts. Located in the Bering Strait, St. Paul is one of the most remote settlements in North America.
If conditions allow, we’ll explore the island on a nature landing. Look out for puffins and kittiwakes along the shoreline, and if you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of some of the many fur seals that call this island home.

This 2-mile round-trip hike under the guidance of a representative from the Museum of the Aleutians takes you up historic Bunker Hill on Unalaska Island.
After a short transfer from the pier to your starting point, your hike takes you along the WWII-era gravel road to the pinnacle of Bunker Hill, where you can bask in the 360-degree views of Dutch Harbour and Captains Bay, and witness the remnants of war-time fortifications. Your tour begins with a 12-mile scenic drive through Wrangell, before heading into the Tongass National Forest where you'll enjoy a guided hike amid the lush rainforest.

Wrangell - Le Conte Glacier Experience Join an epic adventure through icy waters to Le Conte Glacier, the USA’s southernmost tidewater glacier.
Through the icy wilderness
Our journey begins by crossing the Stikine River Delta over Dry Pass, where the river’s sheer power is evident in the ever-shifting sands. Keep an eye out for migrating shorebirds along the grassland flats. Continuing towards Le Conte Bay, we’ll search for orca and humpback whales and admire the striking blue hues of grounded icebergs up close.

Unga Village - Unga Village Nature Landing Join an expedition boat trip and a landing at an abandoned Alaskan village that has been reclaimed by nature.

If conditions allow, we’ll take our small expedition boats to the abandoned settlement of Unga Village.
You’ll disembark on a solitary coast where raw nature, infinite landscapes, and wildlife rule. Admire silver-grey wooden buildings as they drown in a sea of grass and pink louseworts. Wrangell - Ancient Forests of Anan Venture into Southeast Alaska’s old-growth rainforest where towering trees, elusive wildlife, and native history surround you. A scenic 45-minute boat ride will bring you to the trailhead at Anan Wildlife Observatory. On your guided hike, discover the rich diversity of local plants and trees while hearing stories of the area's use as a traditional fish camp.
Escape into Southeast Alaska's lush old-growth rainforest where time slows for you to breathe in a wilderness rich with native history. A scenic 45-minute jet boat ride along the coast of mainland Alaska will bring you to the shores of a tidal lagoon at the mouth of Anan Creek. Bears, eagles, harbor seals, and humans have come to fish side-by-side at this site for time untold- now home to the Anan Wildlife Observatory.
Although you will be visiting outside the peak season of the salmon run, you still stand a chance to encounter wildlife moving through the area. The true joy is in the journey as your local guide ushers you beneath towering moss-drenched trees on the 5/8 mile gravel path to the creekside observation deck. Learn the identity and traditional uses of many plants and hear stories of ancient fish traps and native clans gathered at the site to catch and smoke salmon.
