Scenic Eclipse is a Discovery Yacht — a 165-metre, 228-guest ultra-luxury vessel carrying two helicopters, a custom 6-person submersible, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Polar Class 6 ice rating allows operations from Antarctica to the Northwest Passage. Twin-azimuth thrusters give exceptional manoeuvrability for Zodiac landings in the most remote waters.

Booking & Cancellation Policies

Children Policy

River cruises set a minimum boarding age of 12; guests under 12 require individual case review. Strict age limits apply to Scenic Eclipse polar & expedition voyages. Child fares shall be calculated separately based on official sailing tariff. All port charges, taxes, single supplements and land arrangements are charged at full standard rates.All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Third Person Policy

Selected suite categories accommodate a third guest (sofa-bed configuration in Owner's Penthouse on Eclipse). Third guest fare is typically 50% of the per-person twin-share rate. Subject to availability.The maximum number of occupants per suite shall not exceed the official rated capacity. Child discount: 50%

Single Supplement

All published cruise fares are calculated on twin-share per guest basis. Single occupancy of any suite requires payment of the applicable single supplement rate set by each route and suite category. FOC complimentary suites are calculated on twin-share basis; single use of FOC suites shall pay full single supplement.

Cancellation Policy

150+ days before departure: 3000 USD penalty 121–149 days before departure: 50% penalty 0–120 days before departure: 100% penalty Loss of Booking Deposit of USD 1,000 and remaining Booking Deposit granted as FutureTravel Credit. Name change fee: $250 USD

Gratuities

All gratuities for the ship's crew, expedition team and shore-side guides are included in your fare. Additional tipping is entirely at your discretion and never expected. Spa, salon and other personal services are not all-inclusive — discretionary tipping applies if desired.

Insurance Requirements

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all voyages. Mandatory for Scenic Eclipse polar / expedition voyages — must include trip cancellation, medical evacuation (USD 100,000 minimum), repatriation and pre-existing condition coverage. Proof of insurance required prior to embarkation.
