Private Air Charters: Our Private Air Charters offer the height of customised travel with a choice of aircraft, departure times, dining options, and more. Reservations can be made with the help of our dedicated team of specialised Explora Experience Ambassadors.
The Explora Journeys Private Air Charters programme is only available for guests who have booked an Explora Journeys reservation with a full deposit. Full payment for the reservation must be made within 7 days of reservation when outside of the Journey final payment date. Penalty schedules are unique to the individual agreement of the charter operator and may result in penalties if cancelled prior to the final payment of the Explora Journeys reservation.
The Explora Journeys Private Air Charters programme can be used in combination with The Explora Journeys Air Travel programme. Guests may choose to select one programme at the beginning of the journey and the other at the return, or vice versa. Once selections are made, any changes are subject to penalties imposed by the airlines or charter operators. Explora Journeys will not charge any service fees for changes or cancellations.
Please note that aircraft availability, size, and cost as well as airport locations, and FBO services, vary greatly depending on destination, time of year, and the number of individuals traveling. Explora Journeys recommends reserving The Explora Journeys Private Air Charters programme as early as possible to maximise options and reduce costs. The Explora Journeys Private Air Charters programme may be reserved up to one year prior to departure.
Service animals are allowed on private aircraft; however, some destinations may have restrictions on animals and require additional documentation. Please notify the Ambassador at the time of booking.
The Explora Journeys Private Air Services programme is accessible from specific city airports and covers all fuel surcharges and taxes.
Prices are presented in local currencies and encompass all government and miscellaneous fees. Explora Journeys is not accountable for any supplementary fees imposed by individual vendors or governments for miscellaneous services, such as day-of-arrival visa cards, local gratuities, and more.
All prices are subject to availability at the time of reservation and are not guaranteed until a fully signed private aircraft agreement is returned to Explora Journeys and full payment is received.
Published fares require payment within 24 hours of reservation. Private (negotiated) fares must be settled no later than 150 days before sailing. If your departure is within 7 days, payment must be made within one hour of receiving the flight quote.
Once a fully signed agreement is returned to Explora Journeys and full payment is received, this shall constitute the sole contract between the aircraft operator and the guest. The aircraft operator is responsible for any act or event that takes place while guests are on board its conveyances, or for those that occur while boarding or disembarking from the aircraft. Explora Journeys does not own or operate the aircraft, ground transportation or hotels, and is not liable in any way for loss, damage, injury, illness, or death arising in conjunction with the services provided by these independent contractors.
Guests are solely responsible for all required documentation including valid passports, entry permits, visas, vaccinations or other local or governmental requirements. In accordance with governmental restrictions, the spelling of a guest’s name (first, middle, if any, and last) must be identical to the passport prior to issuing airline tickets. Contingent on the aircraft operators or local government restrictions, name changes, or name corrections, these actions may require the complete cancellation of the original reservation. This action may increase costs or result in the loss of the original schedule which is subject to availability at the time of the name correction.
Private aircraft costs will vary based on dates, location, flight schedules and availability.
Explora Journeys may provide private aircraft operators with passenger information, including full legal name, date of birth, nationality, residency status, and valid passport details, including issue and expiration dates. Any false, inaccurate, incomplete, or voluntarily altered data might lead to the cancellation of all air reservations, potentially resulting in the loss of the original booking. Private aircraft operators hold the authority to impose non-refundable fees or fare increases. Explora Journeys bears no responsibility for missing or inaccurate information, which may incur additional costs, modifications to the original reservation, or cancellations, placing the sole responsibility on the guest.
Explora Journeys reserves the right to correct errors or omissions and to change fares, fees, promotions, and programmes at any time without notice.
